Der junge Pole Lucek und seine Kollegen bereiten die kommende Baustelle vor. K\u00e4the arbeitet auf der F\u00e4hre, bringt stetig Menschen mit ihren Geschichten und Waren hin und her. Birte und Leif verlassen ihr \u00fcber Generation vererbtes Haus. Agnes\u2018 Leben spiegelt sich in ihren Tagebucheintr\u00e4gen, ihren Sammlerst\u00fccken und den W\u00e4nden ihres Hauses, das bald abgerissen wird. Ein d\u00e4nischer Sommer: lange Tage werden zu blauen N\u00e4chten.
